Maria Woodford: Buy

This is Maria Woodford's debut CD, released in December of 2000. Alex Radus guests on the album. This record is a glimpse into Maria's earlier experiences in songwriting. The production on "Brighter Path" is centered around a full band and has a bit of a folk rock feeling about it. Maria's follow up solo album is slated to be released in the spring of 2006.

This is the first album Maria Woodford and Alex Radus released as Duende. The album was recorded and released after an obscene amount of time crisscrossing the country on tour. The release of this album was followed by more of the same. The production on ths record is sparse and close... it leaves the listener under the impression that they have witness something both powerful and personal. This is Duende's second release. This compilation of both new and pre-recorded songs is a collection of live material from NJ, NY, and MA. The relaxed banter and high energy evident in this recording has been said to be infectious, and speaks truly of the charm created by these two songwiters when they perform together. This 2007 release was a work for hire that turned into a side project that turned into a main gig for a while. It is a fantastic album on which Maria sings harmony with the thoughtful voice of Brian Molnar.

Maria gladly returned to the studio with Brian Molnar and the Naked Hearts to do backing vocal. This record has spent 8 weeks in the top 40 of the AMA charts!
